2010 PGW Defence Technologies Inc. Manitoba F Class Rifle Championship

Cyanide- I'll advise the guys about the ammo and tell them to use at their discretion:) I'm lucky to roll my own as well, but not too sure about my loads. Muzzle velocity is only about 2800, hoping it'll have legs at a 1,000.

Things are getting better with the event, can't wait for the PGW tour.

Fog is slowly lifting here, hope we are able to make it out tomorrow. All flights have been cancelled this morning, feels like we are just hit with the volcano ash that affected Europe a couple months ago.
On a worst-case scenario, our only option is to boat to Churchill, catch the plane or train and hope for the best.

HAHA...that just reminded me of your gunshow vendors tag....LOL

YAY....we leave tomorrow.......look out Winnipeg...... MUAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Fagatini's in the Fornicatorium with this guy should make for an interesting week.

Today is the day! Hope the weather is clear here and in Rankin Inlet.
Couldn't get much sleep last night... must be the PGW event

*** 1:21pm edit-
Captain's log: The weather in Rankin Inlet is down (fog), flight delayed another 2 hrs., might arrive in Winnipeg around midnight. Over & out.

Ronnie, I can't see my hand in front of my face, I can't see the apron outside my window ... and I sure as hell cannot see the runway ... sorry partner ... get on your boat already and head to Churchill via GPS and ride the rail to Winnipeg as this fog is not lifting bro. :(

I hear the Saudi's are gonna send you and shocckman flowers as a thank-you gift; thanks to Marc's V-10, 3500 oil patch workers are going to get bonus cheques this month.

Travelling with Don and Tom (and staying in a hotel) resembles scenes from "Deliverance"... Winnipeg eta noon.

Thanks, that's great. Whatever you or others are able to do, will be greatly appreciated.

Here's hoping that you have good shooting weather for the whole thing!

Here's some quick photos from registration / sight-in day.

I'll try to post daily, but promise nothing.

great photos :D

but wow that grass is long  must be an Air Force range :p

but then there is grass at the 300m berm, the range here gets used so much that we can't get grass to grow on the firing berms, so your laying in the mud if it rains.

Keep the photos comming :D

So how have final entry numbers turned out... 45, or did a few more trickle in, or were there any no-shows?

How man F/Open shooters and how many F/F?

Any Americans or other foreigners?

I saw the two NB'ers in the photos, best of luck Paul and Matt, and good shooting to all!
