136 + Practice Day = 180/shooter x 2 = 360 Rounds = 18 20rnd boxes
 
Ammo requirements are 189 rds comprised of 165 shots for record and 24 sighters.

Any shooting you want to do on Thursday is on top of those numbers.

CyaN1de, your calculation does not include Sunday's total. Or are you only shooting on Fri and Sat? I'm not complaining, it will make it much easier on the rest of us to beat your score if you sit out the last day.

Thanks Ian, I've let Donnie know of the 2 stores. I will advise ASAP if/where they ordered. Between the 2 of them, I assume it'll be at least 20 boxes of ammo.

#2- To get to the range, do we use the same route or is that road blocked now as stated on an email a couple months ago?
 
Should be the same route as before. Saskatchewan Ave is only blocked on the east side of the perimeter highway. You can still turn west from either the north or southbound perimter highway onto Saskatchewan.

I was counting 3 + 3 + 2 but it's 4 + 4 + 3

My bad.... :D

I am off to the garage to load 100 rounds instead of 50 then..........LOL
 
Les, can you direct me to the directions:)?

Maquati: I am leaving at zero dark thrity on the 6th, so please let him know I need to collect this stuff on the 5th. It is an hour each way for me to get it, or, I have a buddy with whom I will be travelling that is going to pass right by Kamloops on the 5th, so i will have him grab the ammo for you. Just let me know in time :)

Either way, i WILL make sure you have it! We want to make sure you guys can shoot!!!

You can tell them i drink white Bacardi ;)


*****Alternatively, if you can secure 3 pounds of a 308 compatible powder from either the Powderkeg or Wholesale Sports (such as BL-C2, Varget, H4895, Reloder 15) and 400 pieces of 308 bulk brass, I have the primers and enough 155 grain Sierra match bullets. I can load them up for you and bring them along. Please let me know ASAP and i will get it done.

You can tell them I drink twice as much bacardi as I did before, but I promise it will be AFTER I load their ammo:)

I'll let him know about the firewater. He tried to give you a call earlier. To make things worst for him, his internet access is nil due to rain here. hahaha, he is getting restless and calling me every 15 minutes or so.
Hope it all works out for him, please have mercy on his soul :)

The bottom right insert pic shows almost all of Wpg and the perimeter road around Wpg.
The race track (horses) is Assinobia downs just south east of the range.
Elevation of firing points are 764ft or 232.8 meters

Shockman, hampstertipper and I will be towing the Fornicatorium down.

Any decent (close proximity to the range) campsites that aren't RIGHT on Hwy 1?

Might end up staying at the Welcomestop or the Rubber Ducky but looks like they might be noisy.
 
Bring some heavy duty sunscreen and even heavier duty bug juice.

The forecast is for sunny, hot weather and if the wind is calm the mosquitos will be out in droves.
 
Sure wish I was going. Everybody take care getting there, shoot well and have a wonderful match. Hope you have great weather for it (which I'll define as very pleasant and very challenging ;-) Good on Les for pulling this off!
 
To all attending do not forget the Friday night hog roast at PGW. Maps will be provided on Friday to those attending. There will also be a display of products produced here including rifles, suppressors and NV mounting solutions.

Also, for those interested we should be able to have the CNC equipment running in production of various items such as receivers and suppressor components for our current contract.

We look forward to seeing everybody.
