I have asked Les to send me a photocopy of the info sheets we filled in at the weight-in and I will add this info (basically the eq list) to the original spreadsheet I created for Les that was used at the match. He said he would get it out this week to me and I will enter this info asap (note: Sask Prov's at Nokomis this weekend so s/b entered and I will email this updated copy out to the competitors by next Friday). I have a list of your emails from Les...

Will be interesting to see if some of us got beat by a higher BC bullet or just a way better shooters :)

Well said....When this match was first proposed there was a volley of complaints both on this board and elsewhere about the cost. I think everybody that was there will agree that the cost of the match was worth every penny because it was run in a professional manner and included a great many things that are virtually never included in matches here in Canada.

Those shooters who had the time and a few extra bucks to compete and did not missed an amazing experience....Les and the organizers made the effort (and took the heat) for pulling off an exceptional event and they are to be congratulated. Hope they will do it again....

I would personally like to thank Les and his many helpers for hosting such a fine match! It really set a new standard. I think you had to be there to appreciate the numerous small details that had been planned and the small touches were incredible...

From a massive passenger trolley to haul us to the firing point, to a gourmet catered lunch each day to a booklet of plot sheets. Fantastic!

PGW hosted a dinner at their facility and we were given a very personal tour of the shop and the production facility. I have a whole new apprciation for what a fine product they produce, and in them, was a company that was incredibly supportive of our match - and our sport. Words cannot express the admiration and appreciation I have for Ross and Steve at PGW. Well done and THANK YOU!!

The target markers had a difficult job, and they put in LONG hours! We did not get a chance to properly thank them at the end... I hope our appreciation can be passed along!

The MPRA provided fantastic support and assitance. You must meet John C. To appreciate what a truly entertaining and efficient fellow he is. Having a Royal Marines Sergeant-Major running the match had me terrified he was going to check my 'weapon' for rust or carbon! :D It was Sooo well run! Leo ran the butts efficiently and very well - Thank you!

Lastly, The sponsors of this match made this a fantastic experience! I cannot remember all the sponosrs and for that i am truly sorry, but I want to extend my thanks to...

Ross and Steve at PGW. What else can I say? You guys ROCK!!!

Jerry Teo, Mystic Precision: Thanks man!! That table was brimming because of your efforts, and your generosity was appreciated by all. Thanks Jerry!!

Peter Dobson, Hirsch Precision: Once again, Peter demonstrates unparallelled support for our shooting sports. His donation of a Sighton Scope and binoculars was very much appreciated!! I won the binos, and a personal letter is forthcoming, but I want to thank you Peter!!!

Jerry - HiPro Precision: Jerry, I had a BLAST shooting with you and a could not have enjoyed our chats more. Your donations were apprecaited and you helped make this match a huge success!!!

Cabellas! These guys donated gift certificates and their generosity was incredible!! Thank you!

Lyle: Donated barrel installations! Thank you!! We all know what it is like finding someone witht he time and the expertise to do a pro installation. Your donations were awesome!

Get Some Tactical: man,,,,, thank you guys!!

Geoff and Kieth, Urban tactical: Thanks guys!!

Oh... and last but not least, Thanks to CyaN1de (Richard) for the use of a gun!! I took a chance with a high-milage 6.5-284 and it decided to tell me it's natural life was over on the second day.... 4....V....5....MISS....V....1.... Its new life a .260 gauge shotgun will be a long and happy one. Thanks bud!!

Uses- Sinclair Bi-Pod
Cal: .308
Brass- Lapua .308

Rings - TPS low (with anti-cant device added)

Gun assembled by me in my basement.

I'll add to the loot list:

- Custom embroidered quality golf shirts with individual sizing.

- Ice cold drinks on the line and in the club house.

- Onsite results/stats with regular updates.

- Full washroom facilities on the line.

- Cash prizes for placing in both FTR and FO at all yardages.

And the prize table provided by the sponsors cannot be overstated. It was literally 3 or 4 display tables full of barrels, gun smithing, optics and kit.

And when Les had his raffle number pulled for the big draw; he threw it away.

It was truly an event; I am now spoiled.

GSoD, are you serious that Les discarded the raffle number for the rifle?! He is already over the top for appreciated effort and now this. Will have to donate more next year.

Regards,

Peter

Yes, Les drew his case for the rifle(case #1) but tossed his case back and drew another case, case #23, belonging to Glen Taylor. Hats off to Les for this!! Guess he must have a good supply of PGWs gear at his place already. I was happy to see Glen win the rifle, he does alot for shooting in Alberta and FClass in Canada.

Yep....we got to devour an ENTIRE pig and then take a tour of your shop!!! Where else in Canada is that going to happen? :D

Hi Guys, I don't quite know exactly what to think. I'm still goofy over the draw and the red eye back to work. I got back here at 06:00 Monday, jumped in the shower and hit the road. Work piled up big time after the absence. Anyway, I can't say enough about the absolutely sterling character of the gentleman who's selfless act resulted in a perfect end to a perfect weekend. Thanks Les, I'll be forever indebted. With the fun I had and seeing people I respect and enjoy being involved with, it was one for the record books, crossfires aside. Thanks to the group that put this together with a special mention for the folks at PGW. It couldn't have been better.
