An upper disturbance developing over Montana tonight will track to the northeast into Southern Saskatchewan through Monday. Rain will begin overnight in the west and spread eastward in the morning. There is also potential for locally higher amounts in thunderstorms Monday afternoon.

and your point is.....?

So if the Hwy is still going to be detoured on Wednesday, does anyone have any suggestions on a way to get there from Calgary that would be faster? Or should I just take the detour?

As of today tuesday june 22, highway 1 is closed. Overland flooding is a severe issue and most fields on the praries are saturated. Captain2K is heading to the camp this weekend to check on the condition of our area. He will advise me on the status of the situation, please stay in touch in this thread to keep an eye on things. As of right now the shoot is a go. Unfortunatly rain is still forecasted, (and we're under a tornadoe watch here. Theres no place like home...) so everything is sitting on a knifes edge. We want the shoot to take place more then anything, however we don't want people driving for 12 hours only to have to turn around and go home. I will post an update this weekend, just bare with us.
