The forecast is improving. Anyone coming in from the Alberta side is looking at about a 200 km detour, at least for now.

Highway 1 is now open in one lane. It will be slow going through the bottleneck but it'll beat the hell out of 400 kms of extra driving.

the weather certainly looks good, guess it's a matter how flooded the roads are, the fields ware fairly rolling so that might work in our favour

The shoot is a go. C2K arrived there last night to check things out. He's told me the area is over run with prehistoric sized skeeters, bring sleeves, nets and spray. A shotgun wouldn't hurt. He says everything is dry enough but the roads are a bit rough. He also said somthing about lot's of gophers running around...
