Be there around suppertime....I hope. Have the GPS and it tells me to go grids from about gull lake I think. How are the grids around there anyway? Look for the Bronco II pulling a tent trailer.

My friend Eric will be there shortly after noon I think. I briefed him on the rules and he had a pretty good head on his shoulders anyway. He'll probably split wood for a bit then do a little plinking.

Safe journey to all.

WhooHoo! Finished up spraying (so now I need to find something new to whinge about) and will be on the road tomorrow morning.

And no snow in the forecast!! w0oT!!

YARGHH!! I dont think im gonna make it until thursday.....Still have 300 rounds that need to be loaded...

Will have to see how work goes tomorrow! Make sure nobody shoots any critters within 200 yards of the camp!

Hunk & Hook....
The road from the south was pretty rough from all the rain...I have no ideas how the roads to the North are faring.....I am hoping the grader was through and put his blade down.

How about the saskatchewan education system? :p

Ahhh, you must get thee back to ye olde country, where the Queen's English is...a little different.

To complain or protest, especially in an
annoying or persistent manner.

I really like the "annoying or persistent" part...sums up most farmers quite nicely. Especially if you change it to "annoying And persistent". :D

maps.. we don't need no stinking maps.. lol... though I am coming via Leader & North roads, never came that direction on the grids before.. always was going the other way.. lol

Should be there sometime between 10 & 11 pm...

I see. Perhaps it's just a regional thing, being that Manitoba is so close to the black hole otherwise known as Toronto that nothing can escape it's evil gravity. The map went to Kevin, it just got sucked out of the internet before he could look at it.

I'm going to leave home tommorow morning sometime and hope to be there around noon. If by chance I beat any of the new shooters there my tent is large, kind of a grey colour. If you beat everyone you'll see a treed in camping area with a couple of long sheds just behind. If you go too far you'll end up in the farm yard. If you arrive and nobody is there don't sweat it, you won't be alone for long. You'll likely see one of two guys who will be visiting us over the course of the next few days. The younger one's name is Kelly he's a good s**t. C2K says he's been working to get the area cleared for us so give him a beer or two. The older fellow's name is Ernie and he's our host. As was stated before, there is to be no shooting within 200 yards of the camping area. If in doubt, it's best to wait before someone else arrives before you start shooting. There should be two fire pits, the one we'll use is likely to be closest to the road. I have been told firewood is on site but more is always appreciated. Also remember we don't know who you are so by all means tell us. My name is Jason.

Will be there tonight, Probably right around the same time as Toxic. I'm all packed, just have to run home after work and throw it in the van. Arrrgg.... cant wait to leave work!

Have a good trip everyone, and see you all by tomorrow!

We'll be leaving in a few hours and stopping for the night halfway. I expect to arrive just after noon on Thursday.

I really appreciate the help and hospitality the hosts provide. They're real good guys. If someone were to have a decent used .22 they want to part with I'd be very pleased to chip in and present it to Ernie and Kelly. Kelly's rifle looks like the oldest, most bubbaed Cooey you've ever seen. I'm thinking he'd really enjoy something like Savage Mark II or such. I'd guess we'd only need to chip in $10-15 or so each. What do you think? (I know, kinda late to bring this up.) Maybe someone who works at a hunting store (hint hint) can get a discount or partial sponsorship.

Of course we can always just feed Kelly beer all weekend.

See you guys there.

I have a lever action henry .22 with a simmons 3-9 i wouldn't mind getting rid of for 250.
