That's awesome news. Last year I somehow came home with more ammunition than I arrived with. Has Kelly had a chance to set up the new showers, hot tub and sauna?

I was hoping to make a day trip down there this weekend, but SWMBO has other plans for me. I may have to make a "parts run" to Full line Ag in Swift Current next week if that's the case, and as Tompkins is only a few minutes away I might as well take a rifle or two...

I was at my dads old farmstead on Friday...its just a bit North of Ernies...Lots of Gophers
Hey all, as a newcomer to the CGN community I don't really know how the previous years turned out with the annual hunt. I was just kinda curious how many spots you anticipate will be available for this years hunt. Also, you all kinda seem to know each other fairly well... are there any younger, less experienced shooters that go to this? I'm 23 and just caught the gun bug, and this sounds like a heck of a lot of fun, but I'm not sure if I wanna go if everyone is 20 years older than me and pro marksmen with sweet gear. No offense, you all seem like a fun and friendly group, but I don't want to show up looking like a total noob, you know?
Also, I live in Swift Current, about 35 or 40 mins away from Tomkins, so it's kinda convenient for me. I was wondering if this affair is for CGNer's only or if there happen to be a bunch of open spots, should I invite a friend of mine who is from just north of there?

Dont worry GotAmmo....The Showing up and looking like a Noob award has gone to Pharaoh 3 years in a row, so im sure you are safe there!
All ages of enthusiasts are welcome to the shoot, and its a GREAT opportunity for the less experienced to learn from some of the best and safest there are!!
As for Slots, we will be putting out final call pretty soon to see who all wants to get out and come,so im not sure how much room we are going to have yet...as in the past, the guys that have been there in previous years braving the snow and cold get first dibs
