2011 CGN Saskatchewan gopher shoot. Thanks to everyone for coming!

I'm bringing for building materials:

4: 4x4 8 foot pressure treated posts.

4: 2x4 8 footers. (Old but good)

2: 2x10 8 footers.

The 4x4's will be able to be used as corner posts for a 6 foot roof. Once in the ground, we can use the rest of the lumber, plus whatever else anyone else can bring to run stringers. At the very least, maybe we can scrounge up some rope and attach all four posts together and build one of my patented, pharaoh2 lean-to paint booth designs. Once we have four solid posts in the ground, a good rain proof structure shouldn'r be too hard to rig up. If anyone has any left over bags of concrete from an old project, that would be great. If not, we'll just make do.

Yeah I am not sure on the whole cement thing :O

Beritel got there today not long after we left...Woulda waved if I knew what he was driving :D

Jeep is fixed, and campsite is cleaned up, got some wood cut and chopped(Thanks for the back breaking afternoon Penny!) Ernie and Kelly have cut quite a bit of grass, but are hoping to get the haybine fixed so they can clear some more...

Keep any small pets and kids close...the SKEETERS are very numerous and BIG!! LoL! I recommend at least a 12gauge #4.

I think Melva was gonna do a quick clean on the out houses...but in any case I gassed them good and killed most of the creepy crawlies, as well as trimmed some bushes that were blocking access to the "Mens" side.

May the stories begin!!!!!!!

I think a hand post hole auger would be a higher priority than the concrete for setting the 4x4s. Maybe Earnie has one for fencing?

Crap, thanks newspeak but I didn't want anybody buying cement. I don't know if Ernie wants a true permanant shelter. I thought if anyone had any extra stuff, they wouldn't mind it not being used.

Lol, No prob at all. I'm on my way out to get another key cut for my house, anyway. I'll try and exchange it for a few pieces of 2x4's.
