Sooo Ed Begg What are the numbers looking like. How many more do we need? I sent in application.

Due to a change in procedures based in part to directors taking forever to get their final paper work in,entry forms are sent to treasurer then info gets shared with directors ( or so it is supposed to , but alas it DOES NOT WORK !!!-expect a vigorous AGM
Due in part to this FAILURE of a policy ) -I was informed last week from a director of a major event in the BCRA that is holding shoot very soon has no idea if he has received a single entry due to ZERO communication ......Soooo I will call next week and
Shake the tree, my email is down once again( down more then up ) so a telephone call and fax of entry forms will let me know numbers. I will let everyone know as soon as I do

I am very curious about overall numbers now - there have been a couple more confirmed in here, so it would be good to know what we are sitting at.


Also -out of curiosity Ed - what is the minimum number of people you would like to see?

Total confirmed entries 13( the two received were VPD yesterday ) .....there will be shooting ...full program/ course of fire with full markers and trophies ( both cost money) 40 entries plus, Modified programs with fewer numbers

Trophies.... we don't need no stink's trophies

Isn't your name at the top of the score sheet enough? I never understood trophies, mine always end up getting thrown out the next time I move.
 
Apart from this forum and maybe the Hide, has anyone contacted and posted the match details at local clubs and local and regional PD ERTs?
I believe I have covered off all the forums, see below. I have not had the time to post advertising at local clubs or firearm stores. Over the years I have found it very difficult to contact individual Law Enforcement ERT/TAC teams. They don't advertise their contact information :ninja:.

I do use my contacts from previous years. If there are forums or other groups that I can send information to please drop me a email at logistics@bcprecisionrifle.com or preferably just forward my invitation to them from below.

Hi Ed,


One thing we found helped increase attendance to an event was posting the names of the entrants so far.

We do not publicize the names of competitors due to the nature of our "sport":ninja:. I like to believe that is one of the reason we get the professionals to our events:cool:.
 
Having to pay BCRA membership is a challenge especially if you are unable to take part in any other events. Since I don't shoot the match, I pay for a membership for insurance purposes and in case someone needs me to test their equipment ;) :cool:.
 
Well sad to say work commitments and life in general won't allow me to shoot the match once again.... :(

Planning for next year, so hopefully there still will be a match.......
 
Hello All,

OK...we are On for the full program, so far 23 entries received so I will proceed with everything required to make this match happen.
Thank you to those that got their entries in early , and thanks to those that got their entries in , also in full disclosure
There will not be the trophies as in previous years simply because of numbers - bullion badges will be awarded , also
There will not be a prize table as in previous years again down to numbers However Dave's tactical has stated they will support the shoot regardless ( thank you Marty !!! ) and finally due again to lack of numbers there will not be any t shirts
As prior to deadline fort shirts only 7 entries and wasn't worth the effort .....anyone that has paid for a T shirt is entitled to a refund .

I am very much looking forward to this match and will make all preparations to insure it is a success ....see you all there .

Awesome - I think we will all have fun regardless if there is 94 shooters or 24 shooters.
