2017 Cabin Fever Challenge UPDATED Feb 18 2017

I,m going back out tomorrow after church . My personal range , there is a clump of tree,s that blocks view from the road way and apparently the Sun also . standing and being on the ground in 19 below C in the shade temps , Nice . I could only muster some 8 ,s in hits on target .
BUT ... I did learn that .. 1) my sporter 1916 mark III star feeds cycles in this cold just a smoothly as in warmth of my house 2) other then loading and shooting , keep your gloves on all the time . 3 ) In this cold , carry your rifle upside down with 2 hands , when you go to check your targets . The barrel will warm the fingers of your gloves most awesomely .
On a side note , something I realized suddenly , whilst driving home . This contest is gonna run me outta 303 . I,m gonna have to start buying all 303 that I can see
( Edit note . I hope we all understand that was SNAP CAPS cycled in my house )

SO... I went out into the -20 snow swept prairies of Southern Alberta Sunday and had one final go at this challenge... was able to make a submission for each class. Will post my videos on U tube tomorrow and link it to this thread; wouldve done it tonight but I got home late, and my computer went comatose on me while editing costing me to much time.... and Im tired and gotta go to work tomorrow :(

hope this will be ok.
