I have some real nice pics from one hunt but not sure how to post em anymore now that i don't have a photobucket.
anyhow, congrats all, season's not over just yet either

Try imgur out, I recently started using it and it works well. I only use my iPhone, so it was nice to find something smartphone friendly. I don't bother with the app, just the webpage and once you have uploaded pics it's the "BBcode" link you need to copy and paste for forum posting.

well let's see if this works..... October 4th and 5th , BC region 2 , Blacktail deer. 2pt and a 4pt typical

scenery shot down below the mountain cooling off the kills. We were hunting about 3/4 of the way up the peak on the right.

thx to Butcherbill for the pointers for posting pics again ;)

My wife harvested a six point buck the second time she was out this year. Funny thing is, this is the first deer with her custom Cooper Model 54 in 243... AND, I took a six point several years ago as the first deer with my custom Cooper Model 54 in 308! Neat 'eh?

Cheers

Apparently the guys in my camp are either blind or lazy. Either way I'm filling all our tags. Snagged this large 8 pointer at 198 yards (laser range finders are dope!).

Shot a meat WT buck this am after looking at a lot of deer over the last two weeks and freezing. So I fed him a 100gr Partition from the 700 Classic .250-3000.Now I can enjoy the fireplace, a book and a pot of tea...........Harold

... Okay well after trying to fix my sideways picture its just made it worse. Tried just deleting everything but the photos remain. So here is the scoop.
I got a fat little mulie doe with a swedish mauser in 7x57. The 162gr interlock pulverized the heart. She took about five steps and keeled over.

Good to see some Savage Axis in action! My wife dropped a nice 36 inch bull moose last Monday with her .308 Win Savage Axis!

Great little rifles, super accurate and light! I dropped quite a few deer with my Axis before I switched to Weatherdy.

I do love that gun for the one reason that if something happens to it, I won't cry over it. Its dependable and accurate, my only complaint is the trigger. I should upgrade that before next years hunt.

So I missed a very nice whitetail (150-160in), shot him off hand at 100m and trimmed a handful of hairs off his back, no blood. I got pretty bummed out but then realised I started my hunting season with a 49 inch bull Moose and later got the Mule Deer I posted previously, still a happy camper. I have the whole week off, season ends Dec 2nd and there's plenty of deer in the bush.

Got a fat WT doe for the freezer, been wanting to get a deer with this rifle for a while now.

H&R Buffalo Classic 45/70 shooting 300gr SP.

80 yard standing shot, double long. She didn't go far (+- 20 yards) and surprisingly less damage than I thought the 45/70 would do.

Ended my season with a good size WT spiker, add that to the big WT doe I shot and the nice WT doe my wife got and I'd say it was a big success! I watched him on a trail cam for a while and he finally started showing in the day, sat in wait for four hours till he showed. LB no.4 sporter filling the freezer once again.

Got an 8 point October 14th during the archery season and then this 6 point the first day of black powder. Always seem to tag out early when the neighbor plants corn.

Well I notched my last tag of 2017 this morning. I snoozed 2-3 times this morning and boy am I glad I did, I ended up getting to my blind at first light and this brute was hanging out 140 yds in front of my blind with an other buck and 3 does, probably would've spooked them if it would've been dark. Dropped him in his track and ended my 2017 season with a smile ear to ear!
