What about mangy coyotes in a corn field with a recurve??![]()
There's a challenge... and a good subject for a novel.

Maybe you can include a chapter called Blew it on Coyote season ??…….
I look forward to turkey hunting the second it is over... I'm going to try and get a tom this year with a recurve bow... I recently got back into recurves after a 30 year hiatus. I have taken half a dozen or so with a compound, but this spring, I am going to do "bears & birds" with the recurve.
Best of luck buddy
I have a shoulder injury so I can't pull and hold a compound of any weight at an angle close to horizontal so I have long given up my recurves and compounds.
I plan to try it out this year for the first time. I don't get one thing though, when you use a call and you get a gobbler clucking back at you are they supposed to come to you or are you supposed to track it down? I looked on youtube and learned many things I didn't know but nothing about this specifically. Also what WMU's have you NUTZ had success in?

Had 3 jakes come in to my decoys. I let them fight my jake decoy and breed my laydown hen decoy for 7-8 minutes waiting for a Tom. Finally I decided that I took a vacation day, drove too far and slept in my car so I wasn't going home without meat. Spur nubs are no bigger than my nipples![]()
