I'm newly returned to shooting after many years and among my first planned purchases are a couple of .22's (one handgun and a rifle). Here's my question....Given the recent shortage of .22 ammo (I have not seen any in either of our 2 CT's, Walmart or local gun store any of the times I've been in in the past 6 weeks) should I be hesitant to buy guns I may end up constantly having trouble finding ammo for?
Does the current shortage make you less likely to buy a new .22?
