.22 Ammo Stash

Cowardice is often disguised as wisdom. Foolishness is often disguised as bravery.

I recently developed subsonic loads for my .308, completely off the charts, totally uncharted area that required case modification and loads under 30% of case volume without a filler...In the forces, we were tasked to destroy unexploded mortar shells on the range, these have piezo electric detonators that could initiate with the change of temperature caused by a shadow, we had to place the c4 on them and BIP, those things were scary...this? Not so much. Albeit a useless risk indeed though.

Gotta bump this thread. Sorry have never figured out how to post pics but, I'm sitting on about 7000 rounds of .22 2000 Federal champion, 2000 Winchester bulk, 2000 golden bullets, and 1000 rounds of various others cci mini mags, cci quiet, yellow jackets, stingers, viper and thunder duds

Over 50 is better still, no? ;)

My high point was around 75k in the stash, hard to say as I wasn't keeping track of what I was using and just buying whatever I found at a good price and throwing it on the pile.

For me a good price was anything under 20 bucks a brick and was my self imposed limit.

$20.00 a brick was my cut off, too,,bought it by the case 2 years ago,,then by the brick when available last year,,now over twice the price,,no thanks, not a good idea to advertise over 30 k stockpile on a public forum,,,LOL

the public might become afraid you will go on a rampage with your 'Assault .22'. this is why magazine bans are necessary! after all, think of the devastation you could cause when you fire off over 30k rounds in under.... what? 45s. yea, magazine restrictions.

sorry got in a disagreement with a moron the other day. still annoyed.

.... anyways. you should open a store lol

If you are in the gta I picked up a bulk pack of mini mags at bass pro in Vaughn. They limit you to 1 bulk pack or 4 packs of 50. They also had some standard velocity cci and bulk packs of 525s thunderbolts and federal champion.

My stash has actually increased since I posted a pic in this thread.

A little over 10K set aside, over half of it CCI Mini Mag HP's.

i had my kids count(since they keep using most of them), their stash is 5200 ish, mixed cci and remington, zero winchester, my stash is 2500 cci stingers, and 1200 of american eagle
