I'm looking for a nice rifle that I can carry in the thick stuff but that can also reach out to 200 yards if need be on coyote. I had a CZ527 in Hornet and that was ok but I didn't like how high the rings needed to be to clear the bolt. I had a BRNO Fox and it was disappointing but that was because I grew up shooting a BRNO 465 and there was a huge difference in quality. All that being said is there another rifle that is similar to those mentioned. A smaller rifle around 6 pounds. LOP around 13 something thats nice to carry. I see a member has a Remington BDL for sale but I have two already in 8x57 and .35 Whelen and they are not small rifles similar to the BRNO.
You need a 221 fireball in a rem 700 classic.
Those are RARE to Find ! RJ
Rem 700 LVSF in a fireball would also be nice.
The LVSF in 223 Rem may not be as rare. But maybe more useful.?
Rem 700 LVSF in a fireball would also be nice.
I read on an American gun forum a well heeled gun collector stated his Remington 788 in 222 was actually more accurate than his highly expensive H&K PSG-1.
This could be hard to prove but equally hard to disprove given the reputation of this Remington rifle and cartridge.
My 204 RUGER R 700 LVSF is MORE better ! jmo RJ
