234 Wildcat Family....ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Well Doug if the 23rd don't work for you does the 30th work better, how about everyone else does the 29-30th work? I'd really like to try and include Doug in this event.............he's been a big proponent from the start. Johnn is that still good with you, d4d does that work ? And Johnn you gotta talk Potsy into coming with you............

I'll give him a 'general plan' heads up at our next coffee session. Just to give him an idea of the basic intent and take it from there. With enough lead time, I can fit it in almost at any time. ;)The beauty of retirement. I'll start 'working' on Potsy.

Douglas, yes the end of August is certainly achievable and I will undertake to be there. Looking forward to this!

Doug

Should we bring sum gopher furs this year to sort of git the seeds planted?
I know a gal who lives near the river in Westsyde whoz back yard is over run
by them.
Seems the high water has skerried the blasted thangs to her and nayboors back
yardigans.

Could maybe trap a few and mail them post haste to yuzz.

Maybe adopt a clay pigeon tosser with a cage.........oh wate, gonna
git meself all dressed up in pinkeroownies..........................................hayya Mod's......I'm kidd'n......... :D

You pick the date c-fbmi and I will make it work. My time is my own. The only reason I will miss this event is if I am pushin' up Daisies instead of lookin' down on 'em.
Regards,

Activities will be shoot, shoot then shoot some more..........seriously no schedule of events planned yet. I'll have to look into accommodations Johnn.

I did have your Kootney address/exact location that I believe I got from Ted but dammed if I can find or remember it.:redface:I need a memory refresh.

The real question.....WHich one will become the KING of the .23's?

;)

Indeed, that is the very real question, and the answer is............. the 23 Sirenian!

Everyone will want one when they discover it is the 270 Winchester case necked down, without any other changes. Classy, Cool, and Calling Doug's name very clearly!

Ted

Kevan, you are most certainly invited and most welcome at my place, anytime...............Why Not Ted on the other hand is on very thin ice at the moment, I may have to go over there and bend a couple of his 270's barrels...............:p;)

Might be the first time I get to meet Kevan in person - along with some other colourful characters, not the least of which is Douglas, our host!:dancingbanana:

Your plan may fall by the wayside if you've included one I purchased from him a while ago.

This has been and continues to be one of the most enjoyable and interesting threads on CGN, so refreshing to read without the name-calling and slagging common to other threads.
I haven't been following it very closely and I do apologize for contributing nothing but I do have a ' wish list '.
It seems like the current list of suggested rounds does not include a rimmed case and for that reason I would be very tempted to build a Ruger # 1 on the 303 British case necked down and blown out in .234.
A nice lightweight walking-around type rifle perfect for coyote / deer hunting ?

And I'm very excited about the August '15 get together, so many dear friends together at the same time.... Douglas M, Marshal A, Johnn P, Down East Doug, Looky, and hopefully several more.... should be absolutely great !
