Sweet!... do you have the XS7 actions yet?..... I can get going on ordering the hyrax stock... will need a barrel measurement to ensure it will fit...

SB.......yes I have one XS7 in 243 to butcher and turn into the Hyrax, the initial barrel contour will be a heavy sporter......for now.......but for the stock go with a medium sporter, as I will turn it down after some initial testing.

I will forward you dimensions.... we can make sure it fits.... "butcher"?.... I would say perfect.... .243 is a good current cal for wolves... but a 234 in a screamer with low pelt damage is better....

Well guys, looks like me and my 234 barrels will be on the road in the next couple days. Will be stopping at my friends in DC for a couple days then over to a friends east of Edm for a couple days and pick up my elephant feet coffee and end tables. Should be home in a week or so............Then I shall get to work on my lathe and spit out some 23 cal rifles...........

Boyd's has a Marlin stock in their clearance section.............

Cripes.... discounted to 280 bucks befoer taxes and shipping... that is pretty steep for a Boyd's..... can't seem to pull up the info on it.... Must be walnut....
