Walrus............I can thank Hoyt for that analogy, I made it home finally after a week on the road and some time with buddies along the way...........Have you boys been behaving and playing well with others?

Nope TJW, I was bringing another load south to my new residence................3218 Km one way, this trip anyway, cause I had to drop off some antlers for mounting and pick up my elephant feet coffee table and end table. That added a couple hundred Kms.
 
Well, after I finish a couple coffees here, I think I'll go out and hug my lathe, then down to the vault to fondle all my babies, AND, I checked out my new babies that I hadn't seen last night, I've got some nice additions.........Win 92 in 25-20, 94 in 38-55, 2 - 700 Classics in 8X57 and 7mm Wby, my little full stocked BSA in 243, my 700 BDL 25-06 for my back door rifle and my 2 donor rifles the Mod 7 223 for the Pipsqueak, and the Marlin in 22-250 for the Lynx or Hyrax......Lots to do today.......
 
'Looky, you just never mind what I did to the wifey...........this ain't the right forum for that discussion.........let's just say that my suitcase was the SECOND thing to hit the ground............
 
SB.........you're sure obsessed with that BSA aren't ya...........Yep it looks good, it's been hunted a fair bit with lots of small marks on the stock, but overall it's a sweet little rifle and very aesthetically pleasing.

Lol.... not really.... been my experience that you win some you lose some.... I like unique rifles and that was certainly one.... was just picking at you earlier....

Just as well, the cash I had on hand for it (after you bought it....lol) went towards a model 700 mountain rifle.... had wanted one for a while and one popped up shortly after.... funny how shooters and outdoorsmen can always find a way to part with their hard earned money.... lol
 
The BSA wasn't meant for you anyway, you'd have just flogged it down the road to explore some new venture. This way everybody knows where it's going to be till I "tip over" anyway...........Besides I NEEDED another 243, I think that makes #5 or 6.........I'm going to sacrifice one to the project though so I needed to keep the herd numbers up......

Lol..... I pretty much never sell a gun unless it either doesnt meet my expectations or was a cheap purchase that filled a needed spot until I could afford better.....

At any rate, I am glad you like it..... I am sure something will turn up for me in .243 that is a bit "classier" than my current outfit.... lol....
