Omg, but that's good, there has to be more bullets to choose from also.
Interesting. In addition to what you will be making, any indication as to what else in the way of 23 cal bullets will be available and by whom?
I cant find any & that surprises me, for as many bbls as there appears to be. I have no intention of making them for anyone other
than the this group though.

rebarrel a Penguin!! that would ruin all the collector value!
As this will be mainly a small game/ plinking/ collectable obscurity I doubt very much there will be many bullets to be made.& I still think the Penguin should make it to the book Cartridges of the world, as publishers are always needing more material
to fill pages.
Having said that I think there should be a collaboration of collective wisdom to get a complete reamer made to spec.
But again, not my show, just my 2 bits..
I did a bit of Googling after you mentioned that there should be more bullets out there. The name Gardiner bullets kept coming up , but it appears they were made some time ago and are no longer available.
Anybody that builds one of these should stock up on as many bullets as Marshman will sell them!!
I suppose if the bullet supply runs low in the future, a guy could always buy some tooling and make his own bullets, but if it comes to that, swapping barrels to a .243 might be a much easier and cost effective solution.
On that note, what variety of weights do you plan on making?
Long ones, that work well with 8 twists.![]()
Let me rephrase or change the question a little. Ideally, what weights
would you like to see available?

Johnn, I'm not committing to specific weights until Douglas dos some testing. I have only tried 105gn and for my testing purpose
that weight worked well for me.
Any one have any info on extrem long boolits ? I mean like 3 -5 inches long ? Has it been tried ?
If judged on who can best break up the thread, this one is the winner!
Ha one of those brainstorm out loud moments...
Kinda went like this .
Heavy for caliber bullets in 234
Hmmm wonder what a super heavy for cal would do for trajectories and bc and sd ?
Arrows have crazy penetration at super slow fps hhhhhmmmmmm so quarter length of an arrow skipping along at 2000 fps interesting .... Wonder if it's been done ? Hey these guys seem half ways smart , let's ask
Hey guys
