25 Yard Freestyle Accuracy.....let's play a game.

The shots in the middle on bullseye are with my friends glock 34 with factory cheap ammo, fiber optic sevigny sights, and 3 pound trigger (First shots I ever took with it)

the rogue twin shots you see to the right and above are me having fun afterward with my stock glock 19

yes... I forgot to mention that I dont take a shot a second.... I take my time with each shot... his glock 34 is accurate as hell I think he has 2000 invested in that thing

Is it possible to invest $2000 into a glock?

Besides replacing the barrel how is this possible?? Add ons maybe, light/laser/red dot???

I have a nork 1911 that I have "invested" (squandered if you ask the missus) $1200 into...... That's including the original purchase price, so call it $800 in upgrades......

It does not shoot 300% better than it did before..... But it does have better sights etc, etc, etc.......

I have quite a few pistols, not nearly to the tune of ganderite, but of the dozen+ I've tried this with, I only posted the one group from the one pistol..... The 1911 wasn't one of them!

Well, after a few weeks trying to improve my initial effort, finally got a good group. Not the best score, but a great group. This target was after several others and with this I think I am at my best. Would seem that a click or two up would help, but believe the old eyes are the issue.

4.9 grains Titegroup at average 860 fps for IPSC major load. When I get some time I am going to do some Bullseye loads, 4.6 grains Titegroup at average 780 fps. Not too sure if these will be more accurate.

I load a 200 SWC in my 45s. I also use TiteGroup. If I need to make PF, I load 5.0. Quite snappy. Most of my guns shoot best with 4.3gr., although I see one of them was best with 4.9gr, like yours. I suggest you try 4.6 and 4.3 of TG.

Had an hour to spare today so decided to take my S&W 41 with a box of CCI SV & SK std + for a ride along with a few B-8's of course! It's been over 3 years since I shot that pistol, kind of forgot how well it shoots. Both ammo ran flawlessly and are very accurate.

Shot the first two targets with both ammo brand and when I went to pick the targets up saw that the POI was about 1.5" to the right, put two new targets, made a quick rear sight adjustment, and back at it again.

There's always that damn flyer in the 9 at 1 & 2 o'clock that forbids me to get a perfect score. Oh well, at least I got it on my first attempt even if the rear sight was off a bit. Really had a fun time with that sweet rimfire, guess it should see some action more often:)

That's some great shooting there, and a nice 41 :)

Well I can't compete with pretty much anyone in this thread but thought I would try it for fun. Today was my 3rd time shooting handguns, started last week and have been mostly shooting at 7 yards trying to learn the basics. at the end of my practice I shot one target with my GSG 1911-22 and one with my CZ SP-01 Shadow. The GSG was terrible, I only managed to hit the paper 6/10 and scored 39, didn't bother to take a photo of that target. For my third time ever I was pretty pleased with my Shadows results as I managed to get 10/10 on the paper, although one missed the scoring rings and managed to score a 79. You guys must have way better eyes than me as all I could see at 25 yrds was a blur that I just tried to put my front sight in the center of and get a nice trigger pull. I do believe a bunch of dry firing the last few days has really helped me as I shot the CZ better than the GSG.

Good for making a go of it and for posting! Now you have a benchmark :)

Here's my attempt, new to shooting handguns so be nice....

My Ruger Security Six, made some time in the early 80's.

Score: 91pts
My target reloads, around a 38spl +P

Score: 89pts
Some factory S&B 38spl

And finally I tried some Double-Action....didn't fare so well.

I hope to do as well on my first attempt. Well done IMO and thanks for posting!
