3 gun if the ban happens?

Well the ######X, ###X, ######and the ###### avoided the knife at this point. I could not find those on the list. The absence of the ###XXr makes a mockery of the banning of the other PCC's such as the CZ Scorpian and the CX4 Storm. I should have kept my ######.

You're hitching your wagon to Peter McKay..??

As it stands, the federal gov't just walked into my house and stole thousands of dollars worth of my property... Some of us are appalled sure, but half the country stands by applauding while these thieves pat themselves on the back.

1) if peter mckay is pulling the cart, I'm on the cart. If Genghis Khan is pulling the cart, I'm still on the cart. It's the only cart in town. In any event, I've met McKay at fundraisers, and he isn't too bad.

2) I'm with you. Just opened my safe to look at, not just the money, but a way of life evaporating. It's another notch in the attempt to extinguish a culture. And while your safe has more freshly-banned stuff in it than mine (unless you have substantially thinned the herd from the last time I saw it), it hurts everyone.

A 'free' society with a government that steals property is outrageous. And not even through parliament!

The one thing that bothers me about being "cooped up" is not shooting. Everything else can wait, but the outdoor shooting season only lasts so long. So when the various closures lift and we can shoot again, I'll find something that takes AR mags and has a pic rail for optics. Certainly interested in PM suggestions.

I'm bored while on lockdown and got me wondering what 3 gun would look like if ARs, black rifles ect were actually banned, would it just be a bunch of us running around with 10/22s instead?

Rifle: Lever guns
Shot guns: pump action
Hand guns: no changes yet

Yeah, a little slower. That's a given. But it might raise the skill level some.

soon your only option to compete like this will be nerf guns.....

it's sad that Canadians are rolling over and taking this crap.

Hopefully those old farts with their innocent looking hunting bolt actions take notice too.

They'll die a fast death once the Liberals finally turn their attention to their "Sniper Rifles" as they'll be referred to by the bought and paid for Canadian media.

They will go on to say "Such weapons have no place in Canada" and "No one needs to own one of those"

Please note this is not a pop at such folks, simply a warning of what will come down the pipe. Divided we fall.

thinking that only young people own black rifles is thinking wrong my young friend ....

Read the Gazette; grandfathering is an option, but no ATT so no shooting.

This is when the national sport bodies could provide constructive input.
For example, participation in sanctioned competitions and training could be eligible for ATT.
When the ban for .25 and .32 calibre pistols was in development, sport orgs were consulted and competition specific models were exempted, IIRC

This govt is unlikely to listen to any reasoning, but doing nothing will achieve nothing for sure.

Truer words have yet to be spoken as I enjoy my 50th wedding anniversary. That said, there are lots of folks in the shooting community who support this ban. To think otherwise is to be unaware of who you insult and lose as potential supporters. It is easier to convert a trap shooter to our side then it is a young urbanite who has no idea something dies for him to enjoy his chicken wings at his local private brew house..

What I find annoying is the Liberals under Trudeau and Blaire seem to have targeted looks over function. The PCC market is supported for the most part by active competitive shooters in IPSC, IDPA and 2Gun events. IPSC and IDPA have specific divisions for the PCC firearms dominated by the likes of the CZ Scorbian, CX4 Storm and the 9MM versions of AR platforms. There is no rational and even less emotional reason to include these carbines in their prohib list aside from looks and in the case of the 9MM caliber-ed A/R's.... laziness.

Not just rolling over...the average Canadian is happy about it or even gloating. Phuck em all.

Its surprising how short sighted some people can be.

Letting Government decide what you can and cant have will have negative consequences for them too which is poetic justice. Just a shame normal folks are going to have to suffer for their stupidity.
