As I had previously posted, I'm a big fan of a 165gr SP over IMR 4350. On a whim tuesday I bought a box of 180gr ELD X and according to the hodgdon data page 60.5gr of Ramshot Hunter will get a MV of 2869fps. So l went back and picked up 2 lbs. This might be my new prairie load if it's accurate enough. I'll load and see.

Not that time. They were 180gr Alaska Bonded Core from Juneau, AK. No longer made, they were years ahead of their time.

Bought some of those when I worked in Anchorage, hmm, must be at least 25 years back I think. They had a couple of great gun shops there at the time, and our laws werent quite so retarded. Long since used them up though. - dan
