303's are ready...

Wow! Am I glad I got in on the ground floor on this one! Clay, just let me know when you need the rest of the money, and I'll get it out to you immediately. I'm excited to get mine scoped up and a couple of loads developed for this new rifle right away. I have a three die set, plenty of .311 bullets and lots of powders that work good in my past experience, plenty of 1-F brass......can't wait. I think I am #8, or so I was told back in March. On March 17, when we started with deposits, we numbered all the orders as we didn't know how ther rifles might come. ie, we might receive a few at a time so we wanted to get them out in the order we took the deposits (to be fair as possible) Turns out, it doesn't matter much as we are getting a large number, all at once
This batch all spoken for now? Has Ruger or Lipsey's mention how many of these rifles were /are going to be built in .303? Just trying to get a handle on how many they produced in total? Or is it just the original 250 rifles as mentioned before?

I apologize in advance if there is already a thread for this, and if there isn't, there should be! but what optics are folks planning to mount on their Ruger No.1's? or does .303 British in a Ruger No.1 scream iron sights? discuss.
