Sounds like a great choice for one that can not make up his choice, but then again I would go with the 8x57js.
Well... we are discussing .308 cal not .323 cal, so I was adhering to that criteria.
My reasoning for the .308 X 57 in the No.1-RSI is that it mates well with my .257 X 57 (Roberts) and .284 X 57 (Mauser)... it takes advantage of the plethora of .308 Cal bullets I have in the shop... and I have a spare 7X57 RSI begging for new shoes... this .308 X 57 version is 8X57 necked down to .308 with no other changes, but throated for 190-200 SP's... just so it does something different than the 7X57.
But I will admit that I waffled over doing a set of No.1-RSI's in 6X57 (Rem), 7X57 and 8X57 (JS)... I thought that would be pretty cool also.
