You are right the 270 is as easy to load as the 308 but for myself my remmy 700 in 270 and my browning bar in 270 never achieve the accuracy of both my savage 10 and steyr scout in 308 so for me they are my first choice... My 0.02 cents. JP.

I don't even know how many rifles I have that are chambered in 308. This chambering is my "go-to".
