.32 ACP Skorpion!!!!!

I had failures to feed, then I disassembled and noticed the receiver walls were gunked up and more importantly the feed ramp... Cleaned the hell out of it (everything) and oiled generously (these like to be shot wet). 100% afterwards. All my mags have a little play in them, they do move a little. Most people use them as a forearm, that might be why.

I sprayed that sh!t in there good. Think bolt/receiver walls need to be lubed generously. Had to clean feed ramp... caked on crap.

Thanks for the reply! I'll polish the feed ramp, and report back. By the way, for those of you that don't have a BRS-99- get one! 50+ guns, and my BRS-99 is quickly becoming a favorite, great little tank of a gun! I prefer the older one with the angled stock, as it points much more naturally, but the straight stock one rocks too!

+1. Clean out well and generously lube not only the bolt but the interior sidewalls as well. Should run flawlessly after that. We find these like to run wet.

Keep in mind the oil it comes with is most likely a preservative and not a lubricant.

Older style BRS is better suited for iron sights; newer style is optimized for use with a red dot/optic system.

Herron Arms had crates coming in (not sure about now) and Wolverine has stock... was told by Canada Ammo that they could "special order" some if you call them. Great thing about Canada Ammo is their "Free Shipping over $100".

I cleaned the heck outta my 2 skorpions and cycled the action about 300 times each. I forgot to lube them at all, both of them ran flawlessly dry. I only ran 100 rounds each and have since cleaned and lubed them. I'm very happy with my purchase and had a boat load of fun blasting away. Waiting on more mags and my wood grips.

Truly the best fun I've had shooting in a very long time.

Yup, they are fun. Hope the guys who couldn't get one will get one from the next shipment.

Also waiting on info for more mags and wood grips, put myself on TI's waiting list a while ago... might be a while.

My source dried up.....after I bought 2k rounds.

I've emailed them and they've stopped responding. I assume they either cannot get anymore, or screwed up the price they sold it to me for ($4.95/25rds)!

"Deal of the Century, Never to be Repeated". Consider yourself really lucky. It was even $24/50 in Detroit, got from Herron Arms for $20/box+ship.

I wouldnt do that, let it break itself in. If you see any wear on any parts, lube those sections up good and let it rip again at the range.

I wouldnt even dream about doing that to my .380acp Skorp

Damn it,

I was waiting for you to tell me the scoop on that.

That sucks for all of us, but good on you for buying that when you could.

Skorpion 32acp vs half empty Canada Dry @ 25yds...

Skorpion 32acp vs half empty Canada Dry @ 25yds... (Before you guys jump on me, it wasn't my range, can of pop or my idea, but I just had to shoot it :p) Looks like the bullet entered at the lip on the other side and exited making a pretty nice hole for a tiny bullet...

I hit pretty well with this Skorp at 25 and 50yds. Man this thing is fun!

Given the markup we're used to seeing here, a newly assembled Yugo Skorpion for $1K seems pretty reasonable to me. The uniqueness of the Yugo variant cannot be discounted.

Seeing that video has given me a thought about the mags. They are considered pistols in the States, so can we import 10 round magazines that were designed for the pistol variant? Something tells me the "commonly available in Canada" clause would be a barrier but I had to throw it out there to provoke some thought.

I was thinking the same thing. With the recent influx of Skorpions... there should be no issues bringing in mags designed for the pistol and then using the 10 rounders here. 10 rounds would make shooting this gun actually fun. After 5 rounds, it sucks to have to reload.

Good luck... what's deemed a pistol and pistol magazine in the USA has no bearing to us here in Canada. If there was something that was considered a handgun that took that 10rd magazine here in Canada, then yes it would work. But there isn't.

If you want a rifle that takes 10rd pistol mags without modification, you are stuck with JR, Sub2000 and maybe the HiPoint (might be a few others-not that many though). All else need modifications. Not going to modify my mint M84. I knew it was a 5 rounder when I bought it. It's still crazy fun!

Is not the Skorpion auto pistol (prohib) considered a pistol? Could mags be imported and pinned for that but sold to us m84 owners?

There's a clause in the magazine capacity regulations that says the magazine has to be for a pistol that is "commonly available in Canada" in order to qualify for the 10 round capacity. As far as I know, there are absolutely no Skorpion pistols left in Canada, since they were prohibited by Prohibited Weapons Order #11, which did not have a provision for grandfathering - any that were registered to individuals would have been confiscated without compensation. Having none in the country means it will never be commonly available.

So unfortunately, 10 rounders for the Skorpion are a pipe dream for now.
