Sounds promising guys! I've loaded up some 250grain TTSXs with RL15, but I'm out of that too. Shoots great with it. I was using 74.5 grains but I'd like to load some more at 75 and 75.5 to see what the chrono says. This powder shortage is getting really lame.
Thats one of few bullets that doesn't shoot well in my Howa so I'm going to try it in my 9.5X57 MS..

Yup, it does...right about the same time as when people start throwing around words like "obsolete" about a cartridge (or case design...whatever!) that's anything but...
We get it...some people like the Ruger, some like the RUM, some the H&H...if your hunting skills are worth half a s**t, the game you're hunting won't know the difference.
Go ahead, believe that the .375 YOU own is better for whatever reason...that's cool, but don't waste your time trying to convince anyone else...they don't want to hear it.
For the record...I own an H&H, but I'm sure I'd like the Ruger too...without any bananas ��

Not going to happen I only have appr 1 1/2lbs left going to only use it in my 375RUM now so I should be good for a few more years.
and when I'm older and can't handle recoil anymore I'll download my RUM to H&H/Ruger velocities and use IMR 4350 powder.
Used a 375 rum for whitetail deer once... Still prefer the 375Win personally.
I see the old "mine is bigger than yours" is still hugely debated on the inter web till there are no hairs left to split, and the marginal "what ifs" Still make afsholis experts. "My kid works in a gunshop, so he knows... "
Big bullet+ impact velocities over 2000 fps= dead. Any way you look at it. OP, choose the gun that fits you best, and makes you smile deep in your cockles when you pick it up. When picking a cartridge for dangerous game, to me, it's more about the rifle than the cartridge. "Can I shoot this fast, and accurately if I need to?"

Naturally I don't shop such images around much. I almost used the PH's Remington M700 416 Remington but I thought that the combination of PF and the 416 Remington would be too much for my delicate sensibilities. Also the scope broke during sight in.
What I've heard is that Hornady/Ruger actually used some brain cells (so lacking in much firearm companies these days) and figured out hunters would want anmo and guns and so they made a big push in African countries to get their products out there. Seems to have worked!
I've shot several black bears a few deer and one moose with the .375 Ruger. Drew a grizzly LEH this year and of course I'll be taking the NEW KING with me. I've also shot deer, black and grizzly bear and moose with the old H&H.
The first black bear I shot was probably one of if not the first black bear in BC shot by a resident with a 375 Ruger. What's your experience with the 375 Ruger?
Oh, I think I saw the video of you shooting that Moose with the 375. Impressive.
I have no experience with it, but I for darn sure wouldn't be using black bear and deer as a measuring stick for it's performance. Or be arrogant enough to label it "The King" ad nauseum after using it on such.
That's the beauty of the NEW KING. It's performance was a known quantity before it's inception, since it so closely mimics the H&H, but in an updated case design.
Since the Ruger has been around for several years, it's now been used on all manner of beasts, by many hunters worldwide.
It spits a given bullet out at ever so slightly higher velocities than the venerable H&H. What performance on game are you looking for? It's performance was a known factor as soon as it was introduced.
