Anybody can keep adding powder. Game, set, and match, lol.
Best one liner I've read on the site in 2014, hahaha.

Are you guys still arguing about pressure? Clearly c-fbmi is still around and intact. Not sure if it has been mentioned but compare a rem 700 and a Ruger 77 boltface sometime. If there is no place for the brass to flow, it is the rifle taking the pressure, not the brass, and then the next weak point is the chamber/barrel. The case is a seal.
There are reasons to have a safety factor though. Example, you fire a magazine full in rapid succession, reload and chamber a round, couple minutes later you fire that shell that has warmed up in the chamber, what is the pressure now?
There is a safety factor built in, how much of it you are willing to use is a personal choice. I'd pay $100 to know what pressure c-fbmi is running.

Nothing against the cartridge itself but most of what I have leans towards the older tried & true cartridges of days past. With that in mind, I'd likely opt for the 375 H&H. The other reason I shy away from the 357 Ruger is because of the 'definations' ofRoyalty placed on it by one of the main proponents of it.
Agreed 100%...If I wanted an improved 375 I would go to the 375 Dakota,,,at least its a guaranteed jump in velocity. My opinion of the Ruger is that it is almost on par with the H&H when handloaded. Also the 375 Taylor, (my buddy has one) and its a dandy round. The 375 Hawk, which is the 9.3x62 blown out a bit and necked up, works great if you want it in a lever gun,,ie...BLR
LMAO ! Nosler 375 H&H Data ! I load Barnes 250 gr TTSX -ers with RL17 at a round 2900 fps out of my XCR - i doubt that load is very OBSOLETE ! Must be that long 24 " barrel helping it out !Even if you throw Gatehouse to the ground and step on his throat he won't give UP !

The NEW KING will do that with a 20" barrel. No problem. RL17 produces amazing velocities.
I wonder how THE REAL KING 375 H&H would have done if nosler would have used a 26" barrel for it too. Just wonderin.
