44 magnum rifles

I have a 77/44 . I could carry any gun I want but always back to the ruger. I LOVE that gun. The 44 pills really do seem to drop game well. I've never had to track a deer bang flop every time. Boyd's needs to make a lam stock...then it would be perfection

hoyt...how many of those are 77/44's

Good idea...

I have Marlin 1894's, Win 94's and Ruger 77/44's... I love them all...

I think I'd enjoy checking out your gun safe.

I have an undeniable bit of curiosity about those 77/44s. There's a lot of good points to them.

Yarmouth gunshow in an hour or so. Might have to hit the ATM first.

A bolt action .44 is cool in itself, but add stainless/synthetic (I am not normally a synthetic fan), rotary magazine (with inexpensive readily available extras), open sights plus OEM Ruger system SS rings, 3-P safety etc... yeah, it is a cool gun... but its greatest feature is the handling and feel... Ruger got it just right. I am a tinkerer by nature and inclination... I'm kind of a "gun spa"... they visit for a makeover and then they go on to a new home... but the first time I shot the 77/44 SS, the first thought that came to mind was "I am not touching this one... Ruger got it just right." Even the synthetic...

Two Dogs...it's the Original Ruger 44 Carbine Tube mag, low mileage, early (metal butt plate) in Excellent Condition. Never Hunted.

cool. I've been really wanting a 99/44 Deerfield with the rotary mag. Can't find one anywhere. One may have popped up a quite a while back, but the price was sooooo high, that I couldn't afford it. I hope the rumor of Ruger making them again comes true. I have a real beauty blued 77/44 in Walnut, real nice and hardly fired and a custom 96/44 lever action with a stainless heavy barrel. I would consider working out a trade deal with either one for a nice Deerfield.

If you have the bolt and lever, then you need the semi to complete the Ruger set... if you trade either of your current guns, you will regret it and end up shopping again...

Had a Ruger 96/44 and sold it a coupla years ago because a guy needed one for his collection and made me a lucrative offer I couldn't refuse.
Have a Chiappa Mare's Laig in 44 Mag that I carry in a holster and a Rossi trapper in 44 Mag.
Both good guns.
