I have a Ruger 77/44 in blue with a Walnut stock that I have been thinking of selling. What would be a reasonable price to ask for it? The new stainless ones with composite stocks run around $950 these days.

I got a chance to shoot a Marlin lever action .44mag today. Even though it was a short barrel, it felt really nice. I have a Big Boy in .357mag, but I might have to look into another in .44mag.

I have both a ruger 44 carbine and a lever 96/44 (bottom one in the picture, top one is a 96/17). Great bush guns quick and handy.
