45 acp enfields

I don't think a $20 sporter forend would be a deal breaker.....the kits do not come with a front sight anyways, that's why most go the scoped route.

I thought it was quite a high price myself.

OK, finally got mine out to shoot w/ the scope. It appears to be a tackdriver.

It likes a firm hand for cycling - slam 'er shut to chamber, open with vigour to eject - but puts every one of those fat slow slugs pretty much where you want 'em at 30 yards. Definitely going to source a 3x9 scope for this - the Weaver K2.5 is a mighty thing, but as Cyclone suggested earlier, such a tool requires a substantial sighting apparatus.

Update....

Apologies if I missed any requests for updates.

I have received some kits but not enough for all the orders. Some will be shipping in the next few weeks. Just need to turn and chamber bbls.

Cheers

Because they aren't hard to come by and many have already been "bubbaed".

but they are ever try finding a good example anymore $800 should get you one because bubba wanted a lighter gun to hunt with these guns should now be respected taken care of and passed on that go's for any milsurp even the mosin or sks

So what should people do with one that bubba already had his way with? No one is mangling an intact Enfield for these, they are using already cut up guns that cannot be easily restored.

Can I just cut the barrel short on my lee enfield and use the original .303 ammo? If I can cut it shorter how short can I go? I have a Jungle Carbine and it is short. If I cut my no 4 legally how short can I go?

if you got one that has a cut barrel do what you wish but I just don't like the idea of bubbing good Lee Enfield's
