I guess i was asking because I've never heard of this caliber of mags, so the only reason why there would be hype on these would be if it held more of another type of round, say 5.56.
What is with all the hype regarding these mags?
how many rounds of 5.56 will this hold?
Maybe you ought to not post stuff like that.
Its not a secret they also hold 5.56, why get so fired up?
I know quite a few people have been disappointed that they haven’t been able to purchase Alexander Arms .50 Beowulf magazines. We tried to bring in as many as possible and keep the price reasonable, but the reality of the US market has left us with unflexible high prices and some serious brokerage fees. So, we’d like to show off some pictures that should brighten up everyone’s day. These pictures were taken at the factory today and represent over 5 months of hard work and cooperation between E-Lander and Northern Republic Magazine.
Unfortunately, there’s still more work to do. When this magazine arrives in Canada (next week) it will need to be sent off to the RCMP for their final nod of approval before DFAIT will issue our massive import permit. Let's all hope the review process is a swift one!

Remove "AR-15" writtings.
And if it gets approved by the RCMP, well my friend, you're gonna make a lot of money with our fellow Canadians black firearms lovers ! loll![]()
This.
I think this is critically important. The idea is that the mag is solely designed for the .50 Beo rifle and to feed that particular round. The RCMP will do mental gymnastics to try to give you a no-go. Even when advertising the mags, every effort should be made to avoid implying that the mag is designed to feed the 50Beo and 223 interchangeably. Again, this is a mag strictly designed to feed .50 Beowulf.
Boy do I sound paranoid, but I am a product of my environment.

".50 BEOWULF" + your campany name and logo are the only things needed to be engraved or printed on thoses mags. The fact of the matter is that the Alexander Arms .50 Beowulf AR15 upper is part of an AR15 rifle.
Honesty goes a long way, and attempting to play games with the government is what sets projects back. We've been in discussion with various government bodies already and this is the text that we have selected for laser engraving. We feel that this leaves no doubt as to what the magazines are. The magazines are 100% designed and intended for use in AR15 rifles chambered in .50 Beowulf.

This. No different than discussing how many 9mm rounds fit in a 40S&W mag. Very much legal.
As long as the mags are designed an manufactured soley with the intent of using 50 cal rounds all is good.
