Well, yes, it's legal now. That doesn't mean that this can't change if someone in the media, or an anti with a large audience, got wind of it and decided to make it an issue. Making it easier for such people to become aware of this gear, and why we so desperately want to get our hands on it, will only make that outcome more likely.
I agree that it is wise to be discreet about this issue.
Would need new laws to be drafted for that to happen. Or Orders in Council.

How anyone can claim they want to be discreet on the internet is beyond me. This is what it is, and it is far from the first time something like this has happened. Hence why the mounties printed a bulletin saying how and why it is legal.
