.50 Beowulf 3rd Party Magazines

Well, yes, it's legal now. That doesn't mean that this can't change if someone in the media, or an anti with a large audience, got wind of it and decided to make it an issue. Making it easier for such people to become aware of this gear, and why we so desperately want to get our hands on it, will only make that outcome more likely.

I agree that it is wise to be discreet about this issue.

Would need new laws to be drafted for that to happen. Or Orders in Council.

The LAR mags hit the media. They are still here.

How anyone can claim they want to be discreet on the internet is beyond me. This is what it is, and it is far from the first time something like this has happened. Hence why the mounties printed a bulletin saying how and why it is legal.

Guys lets give NR Mags a little credit here...remember they have devoted 5 months and their own capital on this project...I'm sure they have considered the labelling very, very carefully. Lets relax and let them do their thing...another hundred posts of, "yeah, don't put anything AR related on the mag" is not going to help.

This.

Thank you NR. I'm eagerly awaiting pre-order / order info. Good luck with the mounties.

I would like to say a couple of things.

I want to thank NR for bringing in this product, not just because I think they are cool, but because it's going to put an end to the scalper prices and slimy, dirty profiteering that is infecting the EE. You are doing what I only wish I could do...you are putting the boots to all those dirtbags charging hundreds of dollars per mag.

Amen to that brother!

Sorry i have to rant on this a bit because i have seen soooooo much complaining about the prices of these mags on EE...for the record im in line to get some of the AA ones, and im not selling any on the EE. If i was i would probably ask the market value of $200+ Yeah thats right i said market value.

I dont get this type of attitude in our free enterprise country...do you realize this happens with everything? How is this diry or slimy in anyway....are there hidden charges, some rip off scam for a fake mag? Water front property is rare in Vancouver, seen the prices? The price is clearly stated, so if you cant afford to pay $200 plus for a rare sought after item, to bad, obviously there are people who can and are. If you can afford it but think the price is to high fine, dont buy it...if no one buys them then the price will be forced lower. Thats the way a free enterprise system works. Mass produced and readily available items generally = cheap. Hard to come by and rare items generally = expensive. Why dont people get this?

I have been looking at revolvers from the 1800s that probably cost $10 new and are now $4-5000. Why? Because there rare and there is demand..."dirty profiteering"? I dont think so, just the way things work, deal with it.

Rant off/

It's like the guys who to go to the Barrett Jackson auctions and buy rare cars, only to let them sit in their garage and never be driven. Cars are meant to be driven and enjoyed, not bought as an investment and collect dust. The people who bought these mags solely to turn around and resell them for a meazly $100-200 profit aren't true gun enthusiasts, but purely profiteers.

KNO3-, you are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!! I see so many ppl in here #####ing about so and so selling this, that and the other thing for way to much money. Then don't BUY IT!!! Obviously people are trying to maximize profit! Why not?! Every time I turn around someone else has their hands in my pocket...I need to feed those hungry hippos somehow! No, I have NOT sold anything "overpriced", but I do sell for what a market values items at. I currently have a KSG, and have had offers for it for 500 more then I paid for it BECAUSE they are hard to come by. What am I to do, say "Nah, profiteering is so wrong according to the CGNers, I can't do that....telll you what, I'll sell it to you for what I paid MINUS 20% minus shipping and taxes BECAUSE THATS WHAT CGN WHARF RATS THINK IS FAIR...and then I'll just wait patiently so I can buy another one at full price. It gets under my skin to when I see something obviously overpriced, BUT, I don't have to buy it!!! sooooooo...don't buy the overpriced 200 dollar mags....let the seller realize he has no bites, or perhaps he has bites? Some people have more money then time, some are suckers. Who cares? And you know what I find really odd about this? Often times the folks I see complaining end up doing the very same thing they ##### about on these boards incessantly, apparently it's ok for them to do it. Children, please.... let the world continue to revolve, shall we?

so yeah um... about the mags? when do u think you will have them in country ready to ship, if say they were approved tomorrow? hypeithectly specking
