A pre-order limit would be good.

You will have guys that want to protect their $200 a mag business buying them all up or people with deep pockets.

Us normal Joes need a chance to buy some too. :)

Put a limit of 5 for the first day or 2. Let everyone get a shot at ordering some.....after that, open it up.

That's a good point, and what happened to you? Haven't seen u post anywhere in forever.

Extended vacation. Or was it "reeducation"? I always get the two mixed up... ;)

Nice to see you back into the swing of things blax! So what did you do with yourself with-out the interwebs?

Collected a few hard-to-find toys that I'm looking forward to playing with this summer. Relaxed - enjoyed the newfound appreciation of spare time. ;)

We'd like to give the RCMP a little more credit than that. They're working with our company, not against us.

T97, SW M&P22, BD38 ... <cough> ... Far be it for me to suggest that there have been instances where we have been bit by the hand that feeds us (or supplies us, as some recent events suggest), but working with is not necessarily any guarantee of a favorable outcome. As an example, it's entirely possible they could request a redesign of the follower to inhibit feed or function of anything other than .50 Beowulf. Or prohibit it outright.

And in those scenarios, the question still stands.

do you have any idea how long the RCMP normally take to do its approval? I guess you are really at their mercy and they do things at their pace. Can the magazine really be disapproved? Its got its markings and you have stated what its for.

Two (2) years is the normal turn around time. We were told the RCMP hoped to have a response back to us in an amount of time better measured in weeks, but we were also recently told that other more urgent issues than ours have cropped up.

Just looking through the forums I have my suspicions what they are. Regardless, we are at the mercy of their scheduling.

So when they going to be here when can I order ?

Look 4 posts above yours....

I'm curious, is there such thing as a Beowulf pistol mag yet?

No. Because Beowulf does not manufacture a Beowulf pistol, thus it is not readily available to the Canadian market, thus Beowulf pistol mags don't exist and can't exist until such time that a company produces a Beowulf pistol that is readily accessible to the Canadian market.

Thanks fenceline, I'd figure that they need to "make" a pistol AR in order to make pistol mags.... ughh... I wish the laws would just give us hi-cap mags already. This is childish that we need to keep "going" around the laws and through the legal loop-holes. This Beowulf mag will be pretty beast...
