my experience was not so, but if you have some that work perfectly I would be happy to give them a try
are they functioning 100% in your beowulf rifle?I'm in bc...if you want to pay shipping I can lend you a couple of these to try out...pm me if you're interested.
A mag body is just a mag body until it is stamped assembled and sold as a specific caliber, any alterations after that would be modifications. If the body was stamped/engraved 50beo then assembled at the factory and sold as such it shouldn't matter if the body is made on the same machinery as it is marketed as a different product.
where did they say that? I asked multiple times in his own thread and they refused to do any testing until the mags are here even though they have the samples already.
Even out of the ones already sold by another retailer I have not seen one report as to how they function in a 50 Beowulf rifle. It is clear that C products used a 223 anti tilt follower and milled of the caliber markings from the pictures posted.
has anyone bought any to confirm the origins of the mag?
yes, but if you read on they are unwilling to provide details of the testing till they arrive and have not commented as to why they are unwilling to show or elaborate on what testing was done. They made the statement in the first post in their vendor section thread.
These magazines are for a .50 Beowulf AR, they hold 5.5 rounds of .50 Beowulf cartridges!
yes and where is the product review/test vid? im awaiting anxiously
Same here, lots or retailers selling these as they tested 100% reliable but no videos.
We are holding off until they clear & arrive in the country, we are hoping to have them by the end of the month or shortly after, but you never know with customs or the RCMP!
What is the issue with showing people how they work with the 50 Beowulf rounds before they arrive in country?
C products says they don't make or currently supply beowulf mags. That is the manufacturer. What does that say about the company supplying the mags? And the mags themselves.
maybe some of the big manufacturers will start making ammunition tooEveryone should just buy a 50BW AR. If there were rifles being sold, every manufacturer would be pumping out mags.
What about AA mag bodies is a different design than a .223 mag?
we had a brand new straight from the manufacturer case of the cproduct magazines at our 3gun shoot this weekend.... unopened, the label it clearly stated it was from cproducts and shipped direct to the company currently selling them..... I will attest to that in court so there is NO DOUBT cproducts is manufacturing the magazines and shipping them from their warehouse.
Well BBB, what say you?
Should we be expecting to see an apology to the other dealer that was pitched under the bus?
A magazine is not just a mag body. A magazine is a mag body plus a spring plus a follower plus a floorplate plus engravings/markings etc. If a court will be satisfied that a magazine (not just a mag body) was designed or manufactured for use in a .50 calibre rifle, then the magazine may hold five .50 calibre cartridges. Whether a magazine was designed or manufactured for use in a .50 calibre rifle is a question of fact. A court will require evidence on the point. The manufacturer or person possessing the magazine will have to prove it, or rather, more accurately, the Crown will have to prove that it is NOT. In the case of these magazines, can the manufacturer prove the magazines were designed or manufactured to hold .50 calibre?

he is takking about some other business selling mags that are claimed to be "made in canada" so what is he to apologise for?Well BBB, what say you?

Of course a manufacturer could design and manufacture magazines for .50 Beowulf cartridges.
The concern is that magazines designed and manufactured for 5.56 have been subsequently altered and remarked for .50 Beowulf.
All that is needed is clarification.
