That's how we hunt griz here in ontario....We've always been this hardcore. It's you western guys who think they need a 416 Rigby or something to pull it off. On that note, I'm going to go watch Guns & Ammo TV to see if they have anything smaller we can use. 17 HMR anyone?

A 6.8 is considerably more gun than a .22

Actually the 6.8 is very similar in power/energy to a 30-30 just has a faster/lighter bullet I'm thinking that over the years there have been many grizzlies that have been killed with a 30-30...
