From my limited research (there is very limited info on these anyway), "International" 686 and "Target Champion" are not one and the same. "International" appears to be a stock 686 with a difference in appearance only. "Target Champion" is made exclusively for a German Distributer called "Wischo" for Europe distribution. Sort of TALO for North America. TC may (or may not) have their trigger worked on by Performance Centre. Both are available in Canada, but Canada TC's seem to have a different grip than the ones sold in Europe.
If someone familiar with Target Champion could comment on them it would be very helpful.
The Target Champion models from Europe come with Nill grips unlike the ones sold here in Canada.
I am fine with what I can see. But given the fact that here in Canada TC goes for a few Hundred $$$ more compare to stock 686, I Just want to make sure the internals, fit and finish, trigger....etc. are same as the European version. Logically, the answer should be yes, but quiet frankly, I have come to believe that S&W does not have much respect for their Canadian client base. So anything is possible. My opinion only.
