7.62mm DCRA LE No4 conversion thread

Superbee listed his #1 unit on the EE.

overall, looks like just over 10% of the rifles are accounted for in the list - anyone have an accurate count?

I have more info on #1412.
It is for sale again.
It is a 1943 LB with the 5G and C inside oval.

Looks like a bunch of former competition .303 rifles were converted at the same time in the 1400 serial # range.

#1429 on the EE,1949 LB,TZ sight, also has the C inside oval, indicating a former .303 competition rifle.

I saw one at the Bud Haynes / Wards auction last week, unfortunately I forgot to write the conversion number down, it was in the 14xx range.

It was sporterized and barrel cut down, the other oddity that I noticed was that the conversion number was in brackets Ie.. (14XX)

someone had tried to put it into a full length forestock but the wood came up to the muzzle.

was a LB with the C oval mark

Like this one?

It is #1516 in brackets. Mated to a LB 1945 receiver. No DCRA conversion marks on receiver.
