9.3 bullet test started. pics posted in #1

Not many bullets survive 12 yard test in plastic and water , all bullets react differently at different ranges and speeds!

oh yes you are right but is more 20 yards and the subject was more what happens if my bullet needed to be shot at that short distance ....

this is just a little sample test and being not paid for doing it i have the innocence to believe in what i ve seen ....

updated with pictures for the 232-235 grains and the 270s ...

working on the 250-255s but photobucket is not fast ...

for the out of focus on some pictures seems my macro mode do not like some bullets at all ....

You're far too diplomatic. In past, photobucket has, at times, been a little irritating for me to say the least. Lately though, it's a real
PIA!!
If things don't improve, I'll check out and see what alternatives are available out there!

That is why the 458's and 500 intros where built for those close encounters of a different kind!
When a 338 win mag 210 grain partition goes out at 3000 fps and over 4000 ft lbs the bullet will go to pieces you just might ant to use a solid for 20 yard

some are working into the medium test some not: that was the intention ... a 9.3x62 has been used over a century by PHs for close call and back up ....

looks what my late friend said about it:

...''...Wounded elephant aside, the 9.3 fitted the bill for everything else. ...''...

i will have a 458 to evaluate with some different bullets but first this project ...

photobucket quick and easy fix ...

Really simple - for Firefox:
1. Upper right-hand corner click the three-lines (Open Menu)
2. Select Add-ons
3. On left menu click Extensions
4. Upper right-hand corner enter " photobucket embed "
5. Select the "photobucket embed fix" and click install

Took twice as long to type the instructions as it does to do it!

EDIT: for Chrome, just as easy, go to Manage Extensions, click on Get More Extensions, type in " photobucket embed fix " (Chrome will suggest as you type), select the top one, click to authorize add.

guys,

when i will completetlypublish all the pics and results i will make a new post where all the others are and maybe it will be time to call for a sticky ...
