A Real Hunter Slams Black Rifles

Zumbo fu**ed up.

Bloggers and papers will often knowingly publish stuff to generate a reaction. Zumbo was trying to increase his readership and ended up chitting the bed.

Ted Nugent is cutting him some slack...maybe we should too. I love black rifles and I like hanging out with the so-called 'Fudds' too. Cripes, any range worth its salt is big enough for us all.

Except there is none of that with these types of rifles. Unless you're hunting with a full auto, how is it any different that hunting with a rifle (except for the way it looks).

Did any of you guys see the Colbert Report the other night where he picked up on this? It's up on this site under "firing range".

What I think it does is demonstrate the power of the internet, I remember that writer for F&S saying almost the exact same thing back around 1992, he did catch a lot of flak for it and I cancelled my subscription, but it was never as widely known as this Zumbo gaff.
