The incomplete lists are just a distraction to keep us occupied and divided. They are coming for all our guns. Every damn one.


By the time there are only .22's left, politicians are going to realize just how dangerous a weapon the .22 rimfire can be, and promptly ban them. Small, light, quiet, easy to conceal, high mag capacities, easily silenced and carried/transported/hidden. Think of how easily it ricochets, and just like the AR15, nobody is taking down deer with them (legally, lol). Lives are at risk!!! (Ex) wives are at risk!!!!! Somebody please think of the children!!!

Yessir, the dreaded .22 rimfire might prove to be the most dangerous weapon of all time!
 
CoonT gets it, everything you need to know. It is about the reasons/justifications:
-need
-public safety
-animal suffering
-domestic abuse
-self harm/suicide
-add whatever else you can think of to ban types and calibers

I don't know why there is all the stupid prices in the EE. Most stuff is going for twice what it's worth. Just because it's not on the list, doesn't mean it's not in the near future. I can guarantee you big brother is watch the EE and taking notes. So I don't see the point of paying $6000+, for a $3000 rifle and having to turn it in at a faction of the cost.

Because "big brother" isn't watching, your guarantees are worthless because they are not guarantees just your own baseless suspicions.

The market is scared, give it a month or three and the continued output of the remaining models and I suspect see prices back to where they were. Obviously this is assuming no further interventions but I'm not sure how that would work because it require the acknowledgement that they completely missed lots of scary stuff.

Well they just updated the prohibit list on Tuesday. There will be more to come.

Ok, easy.

Despite being abundantly easy to find a large number of Black NR rifles were not included in the OIC. On the Black & Green section itself there are a large number of stickied threads mentioning many of them. There was a list covering the vast majority of available Black NR rifles that I produced earlier and sat at the top of the page for some time and there have been many many many other threads.

If there is some "Big Brother" super secret stooge sat in a dark dark basement cackling and writing "the list" with children's tears they're doing a pretty wank job of it.
 
Pretty funny to see people freaking out about this thread. While it doesn't look like the liberal party has done much more than set their interns loose on google this first go around, the minute they get serious about this they can turn to the RCMP / Canadian Firearms Program for information. No firearm with an FRT is safe. There's no hiding that from them.

Only people that probably wouldn't know better are the medias. And so far they've done a pretty decent job showing just how ill researched and arbitrary these measures have been. I don't mind them pointing it out.

Tbf some of the people on this forum are the strongest arguments for gun control I have ever come across lol
