Again history repeats itself. In the 90's they just when to all the gun shops and got the sales records. If the store didn't comply, they just threatened them with pulling their firearms business license. Hence why the Liberals brought back the white book that you sign with ever firearms purchase. You ever wonder why they did that?

Thats 100% inaccurate. You dont have to sign anything ever when purchasing a firearm.
Who are you talking about?

He is talking about the past where stores had a ledger they maintained for the chief firearms officer if they ever did an inspection. You signed when buying
Never signed any book for a purchase in the last 35 years.
Never signed anything In the 7+ years I've been buying in Ontario. License check in system or they write in a ledger for ammo, and pay, then walk out the door.
Update: Sterling Arms rifle is now on sale and have landed in the hands of the first customers.

Just a note the first batch are to the standard tested by their beta tester, with a pencil barrel and non-adjustable gas block. Testing showed rapid fire on the pencil barrel increased the MOA of the rifle beyond that desired by the rifle's sponsor, but the sponsor is offering the first batch for sale for those who value the weight savings of the pencil barrel over an increase in accuracy of a heavier barrel. Final production spec rifles will be released in February with a medium profile barrel and adjustable gas block. Beta/pencil spec purchasers will be sent the adjustable gas block to optionally install when it is available.
There is a limited (40) rifle release with product at TSE and Target right now. The price for the fixed is $2699 and the Zhukov folder model is $2849.
This batch has the initial pencil barrel and purchasers will receive (in a bit) some replacement parts that we have upgraded, specifically;
New guide rods and back plate: We found that the current design, once nitrided, are too fragile and if dropped (just right) could shear.
New main recoil springs: The current ones work fine, but SAI changed the materials to give a stronger forward impulse
New steel cocking bar: The aluminum one (after 100s of action racks) starts to stretch and we want to pre-empt any issues.
The next and subsequent shipments will have these items plus a slightly heavier barrel (.2" in diameter) for added stiffness / accuracy and an adjustable gasblock, which will make it easier to adapt this firearm for other calibres.
With the Christmas shutdowns, things are behind, but we expect SAI to start delivering regular rifle shipments in 4 weeks time.
