Abby Multi-Weapon Operations whos going ?

I have signed up for both classes (there was a one-day Canada Day sale).

CobraGT, how does the 11.6" MRR group with bulk 55gr ammo? I am thinking of getting a lighter upper for matches (or selling the Bushmaster and buying a CC MRR).

It blasts clay pigeons offhand at 50 with boring regularity. Definitely good enough accuracy for me. Sorry I don't have a better answer, but I'm not much of a 'target' shooter, more into shooting clays, rocks, small sticks, or whatever is on the top of the berms :)

Where do the bullets go when you miss the targets at the top of the berm?

THREAD HIJACK in 3....2....1

Hi Folks.
Thanks for registering for the courses. There seems to be a bit of confusion about what is "included" in both courses. For both courses, Friday nights are intended for logistics/admin + module on basic tactical trauma (tourniquet, wound packing, IFAK selection, and practice practice practice). Saturday morning will include a short validation of Friday night including body drag. So ensure whatever you are wearing can handle being dragged off the range (hondatech :) ). Trauma kits ARE NOT being included for take home. We will make available some tourniquets and bandages for practice purposes if you do not have your own - However, it is highly suggested that you use what you are issued or purchased. For those who do not have a TQ or bandages such as OLAES or any IFAK please send a note to info@veritacsolutions.com and we can recommend which kit to purchase and take with you on course.

An email will be sent out very shortly to all registrants with updated details from the instructors about logistics, kitlist, pre-reading, minimum requirements and expectations. For those whom have taken courses with us (Veritac) will know that the instructors are no BS steely-eyed team guys with little tolerance for folks to shake out their kit or weapon in course. So take the opportunity this September 24th at ATS to shake it out.

Regarding Weapon, mag, and ammo...
COMMBLOC is ok; however, AR FOW is suggested for reasons. One of the recommendations from civvy side is that we were not cognizant about the mag restrictions and how that affects the serials (typically these course are taught in locales where mag restrictions aren't a thing). We've taken this into consideration and incorporated into the training plan. We also upped the round count from previous courses to minimum 300 rifle/200 pistol per shooting day. Conserve your ammo. The appendix B emailed after your registration should have these itemized as well.

Keep in mind that these courses aren't traditional CQB or tactical rifle/pistol courses, but rather are intended for professional development in protective services / close protection. These courses draw on the operational experience of the various operator/instructors/contractors/CPOs who work for Veritac - as well as from conventional wisdom from the CP world that is forever changing. The minimum requirements "generally" are LE/MIL/Agency/Armed profession. We also have an arrangement through ATS that civvy side can attend based on a recommend.

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED for both courses unless you have reserved a slot with us through other means.

Hondatech, see yourself in the video below....

Cheers
