Accurate load for Campro 148 gr. plated HBWC

I may have found the holy grail. 4 grains of HP-38, campro 148 gr HBWC seated flush in .38 special case, heavy crimp. 30 shots within 2.5 inches group size at 10 yards. Shoting off hand.

Out of curiosity have you tried bullseye?

No, I have not tried Bullseye. Out of two powder dealers that I deal with, one was out of stock, and the second one does not carry Alliant powders. Howe ver, HP-38 performed markedly better than CFE Pistol. The latter grouped well but oneout of 10 shots was a flyer. With HP-38, there were no flyers at all.

When I shot PPC, I loaded a HBWC with 2.8gr Bullseye, seated flush with a slight roll crimp, in a 38 Special case. I could hit the X ring and 10 ring, on a B27 target at 50 yds, IF I did my part.
