Accurate shooting from a bench

I prefer my caldweld deluxe front rest because. Has better adjustability and not all my guns can run my Mpod.

But I found you are only as good as your bench.

Definitely. Not a good feeling when you’re sitting on the attached seat and you see your POA move when you shift around in the seat. Nice concrete benches that require a separate seat are gold.

Short bipod on the front and sand bag at the rear, has worked for me for years, no need to change, mind you I have only shot out to 1410 yards so by today's standards that may not be long range anymore :ROFLMAO: mind you that's not rimfire but I do use the same for rimfire

Yeah, most rimfire long range shooters are not settling for any ranges less than 2000 m nowadays.

Here’s a Bi Pod rest made by Henry Remple in Alberta- Function’s Well and is Very Good quality . 👍 under $500 🤩

I find more than enough stability from a decent bipod and good rear bag.

I also though practice a significant amount shooting off just bags front and rear and also shooting unsupported but that’s just practice for ORPS shooting.

Hey good looking rig Jim , how does t attach ?

Where can a guy get one?
.... skwerl
Remple supplies the necessary proprietary hardware. That can be attached to your rifle several ways. I use T-nuts into a rail in both my Foundation stock and my Anschutz.

I can't imagine myself using a different bipod or rest. A one piece isn't in the cards for shooting prone right off the ground/snow.

I have picatinny rail on a couple of rifles and my S M12 BR has a t slot and Henry makes an adapter to it with a picatinny rail on it
Henry Remple . He’s also a Very Good Gunsmith too ! 👍
