Actual Grizzly Shooting

i've had personel experience with a grizzly and the 220 nosler partitions did just fine, only instead of hopping up the load i kept them a little slower for more impact. also you mingt want to consider barnes 220 solid core, very good bullet as well.

COuld you clarify that statement? I'm wondering what you mean by "a littl eslower for more impact"

:)

I was wondering the same thing.

And yes Clarke, I'm busting your chops only because I know I'm far enough away that you can't get to me!

yes, and as one of my minions I command you go off in search of Nubile Virgins and Frothy beer! Bring them to my Appartment and thus apease your Zeus-like Overlord :D

(Practice means about 75 2.75" slugs, and lots of ice for the wrist :p )

I practiced with apistol grip shotgunand slugs, and Amphib is rigth, if you practice with that thing, you can get it too shoot well enough.

I would extend my arms straight out, and aim down the barrel, rather than shoot form the hip.

IN th eend, I figured a 14" barrle witha full stock was way more practical, not much longer, less painful and faster to aim and shoot with.;) :D

X2. Ponly reason I used the pistol grip is it fit on my freedive float better ;)

Here is a picture of one. It looks smaller in the pic than it is in real life. This one fell to a single 220gr Partition fired out of a .300 Win Mag. Range was about 75 yards.

Did someone clobber a 'yote too? I see something furry in the left of the pic.

A different fellow shot the coyote.

Do you ever go out by yourself or is it always a buddy thing.

Brambles: I have gone alone, but every time I do I end up either passing game up or shooting them and then wishing I had passed them up. It is REALLY freaking hard getting even a small deer into the back of a truck. Plus, it sucks getting stuck and then crawling around in the mud trying to get your vehicle unstuck. For those reasons I usually go with my brother or one of a few hunting buddies. Slowly I'm learning how to get by. The best bet for me is to hunt on agricultural land, it is more open and flat.

Who is buddy in the wheelchair? No mudders, no winch? Gotta tip my hat to him!

That's me in the wheelchair, and thanks for the praise on the bear, but I didn't pull the trigger. My hunting partner did. It was a very healthy animal, and as you can imagine he was very pleased with his luck.
