2 3/4 inch #4 buck. Not sure of the velocity, but the Challenger shells I bought were marked "magnum" and 1 1/4 oz. Recoil isn't bad, and lots of pellets on target. Plenty of damage up close but reduced penetration on walls.

'twas in reply to 'fliers ripping thru walls...' - so I guess there's only One big hole to patch instead of lots of shot holes. Just my guess, but that'd be my plan. A slug at most indoor distances will prob go thru a wall or two as well as the 'predator'.

Shoulder dosnt hurt when your putting down a coyote. Couple hours later it can. I had to laugh at my buddy buying a 3.5 shotgun. Gave him a couple rounds of super heavy turkey loads. He is afraid to shoot 3.5 now. Maby I will get the gun cheep lol

Anyone not knowing what flinching is, buy magnum loads in 3 1/2" and shoot them with a turkey choke. At least 6, just to confirm they pattern ok. Then report back.

I actually have a few boxes of them, tolerable out of the versamax, not super fun out of the 870max. Would not be my choice for rapid repeat hits out of either lol.
