AK-47 and AR-15 had a baby the caliber would be .300 Black-out?

the way his post is worded

Lol, he's married, has a metric ####-ton of firearms, has 4 motorcycles that I've seen and I think he told me he bought another since the last time I was there, has a home base business and a regular job.
I'd say chances are pretty good he doesn't have a lot of free time for reloading but when we went shooting I think we prob went through close to 1000 rounds between the two of us and his were all handloads.
Not sure about the drugs and whores but we're all busy trying to make enough to pay the bills and feed our rifles.

What were we talking about again?
Oh ya, 300BLK is the best cartridge ever conceived for use in a rifle originally designed for the 5.56/223 ;)

you don't do all those things plus more and shoot?

Pottery Barn and the Farmers Market? No I don't do those things cause I have a life.

I have shooting and motorcycles. I have no free money but I'm not terminally whacko either. :)

Hey CR5 .... I have 7 motorcycles now. ;) Just picked up a cherry 1985 Yamaha FZ750.

Oh, and I am planning a riding trip through S America with a MotoGP star in December. :D

Lol, my 525 still need a rebuild, I'll have to bring my 250sx next time and we'll go for a good off-road ride.

What's wrong with farmers market? Lol. I refuse to step foot in Pottery Barn though, I'd rather sit on the sidewalk in -30C than go into places like that.

Sounds like it's going to be another sweet trip for you.

it is not negative, the reality is that it costs a lot of money (shooting/hunting)

Yeah I was just kidding Brain46, that's why I said seriously in the next sentence and if you think shooting can be expensive try modifying/competing with four wheel drive vehicles. (Like the old saying goes, what's the easiest way to make a million dollars? start with two million and go racing...)

Hey Suputin I here you on the no free money thing cause I went from motorcycles and shooting to four wheel drives and shooting, but at least it's keeping me sane/safe (so far).

My last street bike was a Honda CBR 900RR (Fire Blade) bought new in 1993, but I do remember enjoying a 1985 Yamaha FZ 750 back in the day; it was a nice bike that offered good power and high speed handling for it's time. I often think of hunting down a mint and original 1987 Suzuki GSX-R 1100R like the one I used to drool on in the showroom so many moons ago.

Okay back to our regularly programmed show and thanks all for keeping it interesting and entertaining.

Cheers D

I rode one of those gixxers way back when, it was heavy and felt like it wanted to fall over in the corners but man did that thing go.
I sold my RC-51 last summer and miss it every time a bike rides by :(

Zero'd, I know a guy with a minty '85 GSXR 750. The 80's vintage bike scene is excellent these days.

That era from '85 to '90 was the dawn of sport bikes. GSXR, FZ/FZR and VFRs' were fresh thinking beyond the early 80's "superbikes" that looked and rode like popscicle sticks. I had an '88 GSXR loved that thing until it was totaled. That little short stroke motor just screamed & hauled a**.

Better not come to my house then. My neighbor has an RC51 with Yosh cans. Sounds SWEEEEET!

That's exactly what mine had, and a power commander. Was so fun. I saw his bike last summer when we went to look at his new KTM500exc.
Ask him if he wants a spare rear wheel with virtually new michelin pilot power. I have one that didn't go with the bike when I sold it. Give me a good excuse to come for a visit :)

I'm still looking for a VFR400R. I almost bought one a few years back and have been kicking myself ever since for letting it slip away.

everytime you guys post something I come back to see if the tread is back on track...
NOPE LOL this one passed the point of no return it seems

Discussing cost without considering a cost-benefit analysis is only looking at half the picture.

You think shooting is expensive? It will seem cheap next to the cost of going completely insane from a meaningless unfulfilled life of knitting circles, trips to pottery barn and the weekly excitement of the farmers market.

Also shooting is cheaper than booze, drugs or whores.

Money spent staying sane in this politically correct, morale sapping existence of being nice and following the rules is money well spent.

Damn, that's beautiful! :)

I felt guilty about that so I started up an "80's Sportbikes thread in Off-Topics. ;)

We can go back to discussing 300 BLK now. :D

I had a couple of mine out yesterday Good fun that is. "PHUT! ........... THUPP!" So much more interesting than "BANGGGGG!"

NFA should be fighting for our rights to be able to legally buy and own your muzzle devices. That has to be one of the stupidest things they ever made a prohibited device.
