You must have his name for payment, then I though you must have used EMT.. bugger

Not to say the CFC is useful, but can't you get legal action from them.
If he knew of a problem and it sounds like he did, he should either refund or seek legal action. The problem was very dangerous and some legal action must be available.

You know, I love to whip the dremmel out, but DANG! that's nasty! Especially NOT having super detailed pictures of the modifications in the for sale thread! And for asking $650? tard.

Wow! Just wow!
I can't believe that someone, in good concious, would do such a thing.
It boggles the mind that a fellow CGNer would sell something like this knowing the potential for injury it may cause. That's pretty underhanded.
I'm glad you're ok DAR. I hope you nail the this guy to the wall.... Then have him banned.

sorry to hear this dar, i hope you get you cash back!

if you dont mabye a trip to court will get you stuff back. i heard knowingly selling somthing that is totally unsafe is a felony? and i think and can be fined and sued? dont quote me on it though,i remember someone i used to work with saying somthing about it, but didnt pay close attenion..

as for the name mabye the all mighty registry should be able to find one.

i absolutly love my cz 858, and i hope you are not going to give up on getting one after this.

In other posts he says he shops at Al simmons, so maybe he is local to my area.

Butchered 858!!!!

Whilst this is clearly not a warranty issue I feel sympathy for the owner. (I got screwed myself last year, good job it was ONLY $5,000 US for a non existent FG42!) Give me a call, then ship her back and we will see what we can do for you, at worse we will charge you cost on parts and shipping.

DAR701, I feel for you and am glad that you're okay. The seller is a scumbag. He totally misrepresented the condition of the rifle and, for a few lousy bucks, put someone in harm's way. I sure as Hell hope he ain't in the Forces. He'd wind up being an asset for the enemy............

edit to add: Wow!!! Good on Wolverine!!! Hope Karma will deal it up with the dirtbag seller....

All his info has been sent to greentips. I will be calling Wolverine Supplies tommorow to see about getting the rifle fixed as I have zero confidence in a refund from this corporal.

DAR701,

I'm glad you're alright. I bought a CZ858 on the board a couple of months ago that I have yet to try out.

It's a wake up call for ALL of us to inspect anything we purchase at anytime anywhere...

Firearm parts come cheap...body parts, however...:runaway:

Now...before all of the "good ole boys" string up a noose; it'd be nice to hear what the seller has to say about the situation.

As we are a community, let's invite him to speak to the community...

Again.... proof that Wolverine has the best Service and Support around......

Thanks John :D

Proof that Gun Nutz stick together and are the greatest :dancingbanana:

Not much for him to say, he had posted 1 month before selling rifle that he had problems and they ended badly. Then he sold me the rifle as being in "perfect working" condition. Clear cut case of screwing the buyer.
