It's integrity that prompts a dealer to help someone with a problem someone else scammed him into having.

I don't know about "Romeo" but he is "something" else though. Glad you are ok and just 1 more example of why it is important to wear safety glasses at the range.

Priceless.

We should add some more guidelines to the EE:

a) Read all prospective vendor's posts in last year. If user mentions that particular firearm is "not well", pass on the deal.
b) Google the user name. If user is a 38 year old male searching for couples for intimate encounters, pass on the deal. Immediately wipe your browser history before wife starts asking questions.

Primium dealer is right.;) :cool: There are some good dealers on CGn but Wolverine is on the top of my speed dial for a reason.:D

I bought my Black Special and my Benelli M4 from Wolverine, and I'll keep coming back after reading this!

I would seriously look into legal recourse, he should be forced to pay for all the repairs that wolverine has to do to the rifle:mad:
 
Dar701 since the rifle is probably registred (I guess), Call the CFC to have the address of the last owner. If they argue, ask a supervisor, and say you almost lost an eye and want to sue him.

After that, go to the small claim court, you will will easy and will have a court order to get your money back and maybe plus for the repairs.
 
I have all of his information now right down to rank. Being in Sask. and him being in Ontario makes it not worth going to court for the couple of hundred dollars it will cost to repair the rifle. Going to talk to Wolverine tommorow and give the seller a couple of days to respond to my request for my money back. I kinda doubt I will get a cent but I will try anyways. Definately a good idea to do a search on people's posts when they sell something though! Could have saved myself 650 dollars and a crap load of agitation just by reading his old posts. Live and learn I suppose. Hopefully Wolverine Supplies can fix it up all good and cheap for me.

Reading the seller's posts in the last year might seem like a good idea, but good luck if it's a guy like me with 2000+ posts
